Charles Tackett

Charles R. Tackett, 82, formerly of Carey, died at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at the Darlington House in Toledo.
Surviving are five children, Debra Jean (James) Beekman of Cocoa, Fla.; Danny Charles (Patricia) Tackett of Tiro; Donna Sue (Brian) Montes of Cocoa, Fla.; Denise Renee ( Lloyd) Emerine of Toledo, and Dwana Jo Tackett of Forest.
The funeral service was held Aug. 11 at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey.
A memorial service was scheduled to be held Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 4:30 p.m. at Freewill Baptist Church in Staffordsville, Ky. Following the service, his ashes will be interred at the church cemetery.
