Letta Kirian

Letta Louise Kirian of Arcadia passed peacefully into open arms of our Lord at 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, at the age of 92, at Birchaven Village, Findlay.
She was born June 5, 1925, to the late Netta (Semler) and Kenneth Snyder in Biglick Township, Hancock County. Louise married Lawrence J. (Whitey) Kirian on Aug. 5, 1950, at Our Lady of Consolation Rectory in Carey, and he preceded her in death on March 25, 1982.
She is survived by five sons, Dennis, Arcadia; Dean (Jane), Alvada; Duane (Karen), Findlay; Drew (Pam), Livermore, Calif.; and Dane, Fostoria; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a brother, LaVerne (Jane) Snyder, Arcadia.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn (Robert) Jacquot.         She was a 1943 graduate of Arcadia High School. Louise was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Parish, Fostoria. She worked as the local service supervisor at TDS, Arcadia, from 1969-1992. She was a secretary at Union Carbide, Fostoria, from 1943 to 1951.
Louise enjoyed her family and extended family and attending family get togethers. She was outgoing and was always able to make a new friend or friends even late in life.
Visitation was held Friday, Sept. 1, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay. A rosary service was held.
A mass of Christian burial was held at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, on Saturday, Sept. 2, with the Rev. Todd Dominique as celebrant.
