Constance Kessler

Constance M. Kessler, 62, Fostoria, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, at 10:41 p.m. at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
Born in Monroe, Mich., on June 2, 1955, she is the daughter of Paul J. and Lois L. (Patterson) Brooks. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Vanlue.
Connie married Dennis VanHorn and they divorced. She married Kenneth J. Kessler and they divorced.
Surviving are her four children, Brandi (Jim) Desgranges, Mt. Blanchard; Nick Kessler, Alvada; Andy (Kari) Kessler, Carey, and Angie (Clayton) Hoepf, Findlay; nine grandchildren, Logan, Austin, Hayden, Raigan, Brandon, Chase, McKinnley, Hudson and Hayes; three brothers, Robert (Sherry) Brooks, Vanlue; Ronald Brooks, Carey, and John L. Brooks, Carey; and her companion, Robert Calmes, Fostoria.
Connie was a graduate of Vanlue High School. She retired from Whirlpool in Findlay after 14 years.
She was a member of the basilica of Our Lady of Consolation, Carey.
She loved spending time with her family.
Visitation was held Sept. 22 at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey.
The funeral service was held Sept. 23 at the funeral home with the Rev. Ray Mallett, OFM Conv., officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carey.
