Richard E. Corron, age 80, of Centerville, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017.
Richard was born on Sept. 24, 1937, in Carey to George and Lena Corron. He graduated from Carey High School in 1955 and attended Findlay College where he played football.
Richard proudly served in the Ohio National Guard. He worked for Capital Financial Services for 17 years, then retired from Key Bank after 18 years.
Richard was a member of Knights of Columbus and also a long-time member of Church of the Incarnation. He enjoyed playing golf and euchre and was an avid Ohio State fan.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George Jr. and Robert; and sisters, Irene Warfel and Janice Waltermeyer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jean; children, Debra Baker, Brenda (Frank) Maus and Vicki (Dennis) Klocke; and grandchildren, Michael Baker, Joey (Hannah) Maus, Jake Maus, Kristin (Craig) Schutzman, and Ross, Maria and Amy Klocke.
Visitation was scheduled to be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Avenue, Centerville. The family will greet friends one hour before mass at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
