Lisa Kuenzli
Lisa J. Kuenzli, 49, Nevada, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. at The James Cancer Hospital, Columbus.
Born in Findlay on Feb. 9, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Marilyn J. (Plott) Barnett.
She married James A. Kuenzli on Nov. 10, 2001 in Carey. He survives in Nevada.
Also surviving is a son, Dakota J. Kuenzli at home; seven siblings, Beverly (Charles) Walton, Kathy (Edward) Landrum, Cheryl Leeth, Russell Heffelfinger Jr., Charles Heffelfinger Sr., Gerald Heffelfinger, Andrew Barnett, and several other brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael (Porky) Barnett, and a nephew, Joey Heffelfinger.
Lisa was a 1986 graduate of Carey High School, where she played in the band. She worked at McDonald’s in Carey and various factories in the area.
She was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling, especially Walt Disney World. A football fanatic, she loved the Carey Blue Devils and the Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed shopping for everyone but herself. Lisa enjoyed spending countless hours on the phone, laughing and fighting with her wonderfully wild and crazy family.
Lisa would like everyone attending to dress casual with their favorite sports team.
Visitation was Saturday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m.-noon at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey.
The funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 21, at noon with the Rev. Dennis Laferty officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
