Anita Corfman

Anita Maree Corfman, 72, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017.

She was born July 1, 1945, in Saline, Mich., to Fred and Mary (Morden) Gillen. On Jan. 25, 1985, she married Gene Corfman who survives.

Surviving are two children, Brian Wild of Tecumseh and Amy McGovern, and three step-children, Jeff Corfman of Fort Worth, Texas, Pat Corfman of Saline and Bryan (Kathy) of Saline. There are seven grandchildren, Kayla, Brady, Casey and Coby Wild; Aaron and Nathen McGovern and Carmen (Austin) McCloe. A brother, Mike (Diane) Gillen lives in Onsted, Mich., and a sister, Jeanette, lives in Kentucky.

Anita grew up in the community of Macon, Mich., graduated from the Tecumseh High School and retired from the University of Michigan.

A private interment for the family members will be held in Marble Park Cemetery, Milan, Mich.
