Richard Coppler

Richard E. Coppler Jr., 56, of Carey, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, Upper Sandusky.
Born in Findlay on July 1, 1961, he is the son of Richard “Elmer” and Mary Jane (Riegle) Coppler. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Carey.
He married Denise Kay Kennedy on July 28, 1990 in Benton Ridge. She survives in Carey.
Also surviving are their two children, Emily Renee and Andrew Jacob Coppler, both of Carey; a sister, Cheri A. (Daniel) Billings, Upper Sandusky; a brother, Jeffrey L. (Kim) Coppler, Marion; four nieces and nephews, Seth, Zachary, Garrett and DeLaney.
Rich was currently working for Legacy Farmers Co-Op in Arlington. He loved lawn care and worked for several businesses in the area. He was an avid fan of the Browns, Buckeyes and NASCAR. He loved his dogs. He enjoyed doing things with his friends and family, day trips, flea markets, museums and Amish country.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Cynthia Morrison officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay Street, Carey, OH 43316-1169.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Richard and I always liked him. He had the best smile and was always happy. He was one to make you have a better day. He was always smiling and whenever I seen him, I never could help being uplifted. My prayers are with you.
