Brady Scherger

Brady Charles Scherger, 10, of Alvada, passed away at 8:13 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018, at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.
He was born Dec. 8, 2007, in Findlay to Dominic J. and Angela M. (Coppler) Scherger, who reside in Alvada.
Also surviving is twin brother, Bryce A. Scherger; and sister, Alivea C. Scherger, at home; maternal grandparents, Candace and Ralph Wingert, Fostoria; and Leonard Coppler Jr., Fostoria; and great-grandmothers, Shirley Long, Leesburg, Fla., and Dorothy Coppler, Fostoria; paternal grandparents, Lucy A. and Steve Scherger, Carey; and great-grandmother, Clara K. Bouillon, Fostoria; along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, George Long and Leonard Coppler Sr.; and paternal great-grandparents, Charles “Sonny” Bouillon and Marie and James Scherger.
Brady was a fourth grader at New Riegel Elementary School. He and his twin brother were baptized at All Saints Parish, New Riegel, and he was active in religious education of the parish. He was a member of the Backroad Barnyards 4H Club, played summer league baseball, was a cross country runner and very active on the family farm.
Brady prayed hard to be blessed with a little sister and was considered the best big brother ever. He will be fondly remembered as a Massey Ferguson and Ford pick-up fan, inventor, organizer and loved to build things.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 9, from noon-4 p.m. at All Saints Parish, New Riegel. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, March 9, at 4 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Timothy Kummerer and the Rev. Scott Woods presiding. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
