Robert Patton

Robert P. “Bob” Patton, 35, of Carey, died at his residence Thursday, April 5, 2018.
Born April 21, 1982, in Upper Sandusky, he was the son of Gregory V. and Jean M. (Weaver) Patton. His mother survives in Carey.
Surviving are his siblings Regina (Steve) Mays and Gregory (Laurie) Patton both of Delaware; Rachel Patton of Upper Sandusky; Richard (Ashley) Patton of Carey; Jackie (Greg) Anderson of Carey; Renee (Craig) Reinhart of Alvada; and Stacie (Brian) Noon of Carey; maternal grandmother, Joann Weaver of Carey; several aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews and a cousin, Nathan (Holly) Patton of Carey.
Preceding him in death were his father, on Jan. 19, 2018, and maternal grandfather, Raymond Weaver.
Bob was a 2001 graduate of Carey High School and was the owner of One Stop Carry-Out in Carey. He had previously worked at Whirlpool Corporation in Findlay for 15 years. He loved motorcycle drag racing competitively throughout the mid-west states. He enjoyed groundhog hunting, hitting the casinos and playing poker with his friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 9, from 4-8 p.m. at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey. A scripture service will be held at 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, at the funeral home, with his uncle, the Rev. Mark Weaver, OFM Conv., officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Carey.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dorcas Carey Public Library and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay Street Carey, OH. 43316.
