Scott Johnson

Scott C. Johnson, age 29, of McCutchenville, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018, in Mansfield. He was born in Tiffin on Sept. 4, 1988, to Greg L. and Michelle (Frye) Smith. Greg (Paula) Johnson survive in McCutchenville and Michelle (Randy) Smith survive in Tiffin.
He married Megan M. (Collins) Johnson on Dec. 31, 2017, and she survives.
Surviving are a daughter, Jayla  Johnson at home; two brothers, Jeremiah (Brooke) Johnson, Upper Sandusky; and Gunnar Johnson, rural McCutchenville. Also surviving are three step-sisters, Summer Wagner, Upper Sandusky; Kelly Smith, Tiffin; and Candi Weimerskirch, Tiffin; plus nieces and nephews, L.J. Johnson, Lexia Johnson, Aiden Larick, Ava Larick and Emery Larick.    Scott was a Union pipeliner and a 2007 graduate of Mohawk High School. He loved to go hunting, fishing, camping, just spend time outside, loved to work and loved his dogs but especially loved the time he spent with his daughter Jayla.                    Visitation will be held Saturday, April 14, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Stauffer officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. A luncheon will be served at Tiffin Amvets Post #48 following the memorial service.
