Alyce Dennis

Alyce Margaret Dennis, 92, of Carey, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 3:55 a.m. at The Independence House in Fostoria.
Born on Sept. 25, 1925, in Findlay, she was the daughter of the late Clark “Dick” and Evelynne (Carter) Dennis.
She was married and divorced.
Alyce is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Carey.
Alyce was a 1944 graduate of Findlay High School and attended Bowling Green State University and Findlay College. She was a bookkeeper at Aller’s Oil in Findlay and Roseboom Grading Station in Bloomdale. Alyce was a life member of VFW #3759 in Carey, and a member of the former DAV in Findlay.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 17, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Stombaugh Batton Funeral Home, Carey. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 18, at 10 a.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay, with the Rev. Karen Farr officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carey Senior Depot, Carey Food Pantry or Dorcas Carey Library and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay Street, Carey, OH 43316.
