Dallas Mundy

Dallas Mundy, 66, of Carey, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at 5:32 p.m. at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, from injuries incurred in a motorcycle accident near Vanlue.
Born in Tiffin on Aug. 30, 1951, he was the son of Kermit D. and Frances (McKinsey) Pope Mundy. His mother survives him.
He married Sandra K. Putnam and they divorced.
He is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Keith) Caudill, Carey; three grandchildren, Jalen, Ashlynn and Landry Caudill; two brothers, Lester Mundy, Chatfield; Rick Mundy, Alger; and two sisters, Sue Hensley, Bucyrus; and Judy Loftis, Chatfield.
Dallas was preceded in death by his father, five brothers, Ernest and Perry Mayhan, Douglas, Danny and Michael Mundy; a sister, Mary Mayhan; and a grandson, Khalid Caudill.
Dallas was a graduate of Carey High School and a Vietnam Era veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Atlas Crankshaft in Fostoria for many years.
He loved riding his Triumph motorcycles, especially his 1969 bike, which he rebuilt himself.
By request of Dallas, there will be no visitation or service. A private family burial will take place at a later date in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
