Ardyth Hoffheins

Ardyth June Hoffheins, 89, of Findlay, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018. Ardyth was born in Carey on June 12, 1929, to the late Cecil and Martha (Krider) Hood. She married William Beall and he preceded her in death. She then married Norman Hoffheins and he also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Marian (Douglas) Haugh of Findlay; five step-daughters, Roberta, Barbara, Regina, Dawn and Linda. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Michael Beall and Jessica Wellington and three great-grandchildren, Braydon, Aleayah and Lillian.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Fox.
Mrs. Hoffheins worked as a nurse at Blanchard Valley Hospital for 30 years. She also worked for 10 years in private nursing. She loved reading, puzzles, making latch look rugs and was a life member of the D.A.V.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 30 , from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay. A funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 31, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Spann officiating. Burial will follow in Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia.
