David Courtright

David Courtright, 58, of McComb, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, after a courageous fight with cancer.
David was born on Dec. 27, 1959, in Findlay, to the late Elmer and Wilma (Sizemore) Courtright.         David is survived by his daughter, Lindsay (Kennith) Smith of Tiffin; sisters, Deb (Lee) Best of Arlington; Diane (Patrick) Altvater of Marysville; and Denise (Eric) Debelak of Findlay; brother, Danny (Tina) McQuistion of Upper Sandusky; grandchildren, Jade, Hannah, Jacob, Kiara and Ty and his canine companion Winston.
David worked at Nissin in Findlay and attended the St. John Lutheran Church in McComb. David was a 1979 graduate of McComb High School, a former member of the McComb VFW Post 9231 and was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan. The most important part of David’s life was his family and his friends. He cherished the time he spent with them, especially his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy.
Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 14, from 4-7 p.m. at Hartley-Hanneman Funeral Home, McComb. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Mineo officiating. Interment will follow at McComb Union Cemetery.
