Madelon Frey

Madelon J. Frey, 88, formerly of Carey, died on Friday, Oct. 18, 2018, at Spring Mead Nursing Home, Tipp City.
She was born July 2, 1930, in Wyandot County, to the late Robert and Margarite (Frater) Miller. She married Linus R. Frey on May 6, 1950, he preceded her in death on Aug. 21, 2003.
She is survived by daughters, Sandra A. Collins, Troy; Debra J. (Robert) Hendricks, Dayton; a son, Thomas R. Frey, Texas; grandchildren, Nicholas Hendricks, Andrew Hendricks, Dara Flores, Chad Collins, Kimberly Hunt; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Zachary and Emma Collins and Anderson Hunt.
Mrs. Frey graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Carey. Mrs. Frey was a homemaker.  She volunteered as a Wyandot County EMT.  Her hobbies were crocheting and knitting.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Bringman Clark Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. J.R. Hadnagy officiating. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Kirby. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the funeral home before time of services.          Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Axillary in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Avenue, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
