Wanda Calloway

Wanda L. Calloway, 79, formerly of Mt. Blanchard, passed on to be with the Lord at 2:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.
She was born Sept. 9, 1939, in West Portsmouth, to the late William H. and Edith (Stevenson) Ober. She married Norman Calloway on May 5, 1956, in West Portsmouth. Norman preceded her in death on April 26, 2010.
Surviving are two sons, Emery (Joan) Calloway of Upper Sandusky, and Norman Calloway Jr. of Galion; three daughters, Edith (Tom) Stover of Findlay, Myrtle (DeWayne) Withrow Jr. of McComb, and Kathy Reed of Vanlue; a sister, Martha Journey of Union, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, Walter McGraw, Raymond McGraw, William McGraw, George Ober and John Ober; two sisters, Leona Brown and Avanelle Pressly; and a grandson, Andrew Calloway.
Wanda loved gardening, southern cooking and reading her Bible.
She will be buried at Riverview Cemetery near Mt. Blanchard.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey.
