Nancy Hotelling

Nancy J. Hotelling, 77, of Carey, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at 1:39 a.m. at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green.
Nancy was born in Alvada, on Feb. 6, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Rolland Galen and Gladys M. (Dible) Bame.
She married Edward E. Hotelling on July 1, 1962, at Memorial United Methodist Church in Carey. He survives in Carey.
Also surviving are their three children, Kendra (Frank) Polito, Westerville; Kirk Hotelling, Dallas, Texas; and Kraig Hotelling, Apex, N.C.; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a sister, Virginia Lee, Carey; a brother, Paul (Sandy) Bame, Fairfield Glades, Tenn.; and a sister-in-law, Diane Schmitz, Carey.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon Bame; a sister-in-law, Luana Bame; brother-in-law, Robert Lee; and brother-in-law Robert Schmitz.
Nancy retired as a bank teller. She was a 50 plus year member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Carey where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed assisting in any way needed. She loved working in the yard and playing the piano.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 28, from 4-8 p.m. at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 29 at Memorial United Methodist Church, Carey, with the Rev. Cynthia Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice Care Center and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay Street, Carey, OH 43316-1169.
