Marylin Roszman

Marylin E. Roszman, 90, of Upper Sandusky, died at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.
Born June 1, 1928, in Toledo, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Hazel (Benjamin) Sworden. She married Adam E. Roszman on June 1, 1949, and he survives in Upper Sandusky.
She is also survived by six children, Chuck Roszman (Kathy Farrell, girlfriend) of Bucyrus; Bob (Carol) Roszman of Findlay; Bill (Vickie) Roszman of Kenton; Tom Roszman of Galion; Judy (Steve) Grigsby of Frankfort; and Dave Roszman of Upper Sandusky; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two step-granddaughters, three step-great-grandsons and one great-­great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Bonnie (Smith) Roszman.
Marylin was a 1946 graduate of Carey High School. She was a homemaker and also worked at the former Handle and Lumber Company in Carey. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky. In her early years, she was a member and pianist at Memorial E.U.B. in Carey.
Marylin loved being a wife for the past 69 1/2 years. She also loved being a mother and grandmother.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with her son, Bill Roszman officiating. Burial will be held at Zion Bloom Cemetery near Vanlue following the service.
