Joiline Caudill Risner

Joiline Caudill Risner, 90, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 1, 2019. She passed peacefully at her home in North Ft. Myers, Fla., surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Risner lived in Carey for more than 70 years before moving to Florida permanently.
Joiline was born in Paintsville, Ky., on July 22, 1928, to Roy and Virgie Caudill. She married Richard Risner Sr. on March 6, 1945. The couple was looking forward to celebrating their 74th wedding anniversary.
She is survived by her husband; their three children, Richard “Dick” (Mary) Risner Jr., Lehigh Acres, Fla.; Sharon Wingate, North Ft. Myers; Cheryl (Tom) Garn, Estero, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Blancheline Ohl, Sycamore.
A daughter, Carol Shaw; granddaughter, Tammy Troiano; three brothers, two half-sisters and eight half-brothers preceeded her in death.
Joiline was a long-time member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God, Carey, and North Ft. Myers Church of God. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and proud to be a homemaker. Friends and family could always expect a cup of coffee and piece of homemade pie when they visited her.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 7, at National Cremation and Burial Society, North Ft. Myers, Fla. Final resting place will be Sarasota Memorial. Donations may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Ft. Myers, FL 33908.
