Janice Stark

Janice M. Stark, 83, of Upper Sandusky, died on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky.
She was born on Aug. 22, 1935, to the late Maximilian W. and Florence I. (Vent) Stark.
She is survived by her brothers, Kenneth J. (Teresa) Stark of Upper Sandusky, and Donald J. (Janice) Stark of Upper Sandusky; sister, Kathleen (John) Gibler, Oakwood; nieces, Sandy Stark and Kelly Bergman; and nephews Brad Stark and Scott Gibler.
Janice graduated from Wharton High School, class of 1953. She retired from Poverello Federal Credit Union in Carey. Janice had been previously employed by Kimmel Cleaners, Chief Dairy and McBrides Furniture. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Chapel in Kirby and former member of St. Mary’s Rosary Altar Society. Janice was an active member in her church where she sang in the choir, helped with with altar flowers and taking care of the altar.  She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises to Hawaii, warm weather and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at Bringman Clark Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, with a prayer service following at 7 p.m.. A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, June 12, at St. Mary’s Chapel, Kirby, with the Rev. Tony Vattaparambil, OFM Conv., officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kirby.
