Robert Donelson

Robert C. “Rob” Donelson, 50, of Carey, died at 10:55 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital’s emergency room in Upper Sandusky.
Born Nov. 27, 1968, in Findlay, he was the son of Robert C. and Mary G. (White) Donelson.
Surviving are two sisters, Ann M. Nanamaker of Findlay and Martha Heldman of Tiffin; two nieces, Heather Donelson and Meghan (Jay) Ehrick, both of Grove City; and his “better half,” Heather Harrold and her two sons, Cody and Maddox Ratliff of Carey.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Anthony S. Donelson.
A 1987 graduate of Carey High School, Rob was a cook at the Wildcat Cafe in Vanlue.
He loved fishing, mushroom hunting, being outside and cheering on the Buckeyes. An animal lover, he couldn’t say no to a stray. He had a great sense of humor.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. William Schultz officiating.
