Judith Walsh

Judith R. Walsh, 87, of Carey, died at 2:22 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky, with her daughter by her side.
Born Sept. 7, 1932, in New Castle, Ind., she was the daughter of Edward C. and Mable (Padgett) Marshall. She married Jack M. Walsh on Dec. 3, 1965, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 2000.
Surviving are a step-daughter, Jackie (Jim) Tiell of Carey; grandchildren, Todd (Amy) Reid, Angie (Tim) Atkins and Ashley (Spencer) Caudill; and a brother, Edward “Sonny” Marshall.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Freda Howe.
Judy was a bookkeeper for Everybody’s Oil Company in Indiana for 30 years. While living in Fremont for seven years, she was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She was also a member of the VFW Post 3759 Auxiliary in Carey for several years. Judy loved watching sports on TV, especially Peyton Manning and Jeff Gordon.
A private service will be held at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey with the Rev. Joe Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Carey.
