Lance Kromer
Lance D. Kromer, 55, of Vanlue, died Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at 5:25 p.m. at St. Catherine’s Manor in Findlay.
Born in Findlay, on Sept. 4, 1964, Lance was the son of the late Paul D. and Juanita (Logsdon) Kromer.
He married Patsy Caudill and they divorced.
Surviving are two children, Derek R. Kromer, Ada, and Shane D. (Brooklyn) Kromer, Forest; two grandchildren, Kaylee Kromer and Oakley Kromer; seven siblings, Todd Kromer, Carey; Adam Kromer, Carey; Alice Kromer, Los Angelos, Calif.; Travis Kromer, McCutchenville; Hedy Kromer, Studio City, Calif.; Jay Welly, Fostoria; and Chad Welly, Fostoria; and a close friend, Lynn Wickham, Carey.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Andrea.
He was a line leader at Nissin Brake Ohio in Findlay.
Lance was a 1982 graduate of Carey High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during Desert Storm. He was a member of the American Legion #344 and Eagles Aerie #2198 and V.F.W. #3759 Auxiliary, all of Carey. He was an avid golfer and Cleveland Browns fan. He loved his granddaughters more than anything.
There will be no public visitation due to considerations of health and safety. A public graveside service will be held Saturday, March 28, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carey, with the Rev. Tom Merrill OFM Conv., officiating. Military representation will be present to honor his service to our country.
