Joanne Wright

Joanne Wright, 80, of Upper Sandusky, passed away at 3:50 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
Born Aug. 7, 1939 in Carey, she was the daughter of the late Russell “Buck” Twining and Betty (Kemmerly) Kauble. She married Elzia J. “E.J.” Wright on May 27, 1961. E.J. precede her in death on Feb. 27, 2015.
Surviving are her two daughters, LeAnn Parsons of Forest, and Kathy (Mike) McKinney of Upper Sandusky; two granddaughters, Emily (Tim) Shaw and Haley Parsons; and one very special great-grandson, Trey Shaw. She is also survived by a step-brother, Ed Kauble.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, step-father, Carter Kauble; two brothers, Jack W. and Gerald “Jerry” Twining; a step-brother, Mark Kauble; and a step-sister, Trudy Fox.
Joanne was a graduate of Carey High School and enjoyed working at RCA, Consolidated Biscuit and retired from Drug Mart after 15 years.
Joanne was a dedicated Thursday night Bingo player at OLC in Carey. She also enjoyed OSU football and every minute she got to spend with her great-grandson.
At Joanne’s request, everything will be private. She and E.J. will be buried together at Spring Grove Cemetery in Carey at a later date.
