Kathy Landrum

Marilyn  Kathleen “Kat”  Landrum, age 51, of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at 4:50 p.m. at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
Kathy was born on Jan. 14, 1969 in Tiffin to Thomas and Marilyn J. (Plott) Barnett. She married Edward Landrum on June 16, 2000, and he survives.
She is survived by a son, Troy Landrum of Upper Sandusky; a sister, Beverly (Charles) Walton of Upper Sandusky; and five brothers, Charles Heffelfinger Sr. of Arcadia; Russell “Rusty” Heffelfinger Jr. of Carey; Gerald “Butch” Heffelfinger of Carey; Tom Barnett of Findlay;  and Andrew Barnett of Mount Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Michael “Porky” Barnett, and two sisters, Cheryl Leeth and Lisa Kuenzli.
Kathy was employed with Kasai North America Upper Sandusky Plant.
She graduated in 1988 from Carey High School where she played softball from 1985 to 1988 and where she currently holds the record for most career RBI’s.
For hobbies she enjoyed fishing, cooking, camping, following “Three Streets Over Band” and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye football fan.
Due to the restrictions because of COVID 19 the funeral services for Kathy will be private with a graveside service to be held at Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Carey High School Athletic Boosters Association and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Avenue, Upper Sandusky, OH  43351.
