July 2, 2020 Wyandot County Public Health COVID-19 Update:
Wyandot County Public Health is saddened to report the fifth death of an individual who tested positive for COVID-19. Our condolences go out to the family and friends of this Wyandot County resident.
Today we are reporting a total of 58 coronavirus cases. This includes 46 lab-confirmed cases, six probable cases, and six probable cases based on positive antibody tests in Wyandot County. There are currently no patients hospitalized for COVID-19. Of the reported individuals, there have been five deaths and 52 recoveries. Do not rely on the number of positive tests to determine when you need to protect yourself. Please continue to practice social distancing, wear face coverings in public, and self-quarantine when possible.
As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Ohio Department of Health has reported 52,865 confirmed and probable cases, 7,911 hospitalizations, and 2,876 deaths in Ohio.
