Dolores Coakley

Dolores J. Coakley, 90, of Upper Sandusky, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky.
Born in Logan, on May 17, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Nellie (Coakley) Forester.
She married Robert R. Coakley on March 1, 1954, at Grace United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 2005.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey A. (Cheryl) Coakley, Upper Sandusky; two granddaughters, Emily L. and Jordan L. Coakley; three siblings, Marlene Rutter, Logan; Bobby Joe Forester and Lee Roy (Ellen) Forester, both of New Straitsville; and her best friend, Marilyn Stevens, Findlay.
Dolores was preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Coakley; four siblings, Dannie Forester, Nancy Starr, Shirley McLaughlin and Frank Forester; two infant sons, Robert and David Coakley; and an infant daughter, Kathy J. Coakley.
Dolores retired from AO Smith in Upper Sandusky in 1990. She volunteered at Wyandot Memorial Hospital for 10 years. She enjoyed word search puzzles and collecting lighthouses.
She loved her family, especially watching her granddaughters in their extracurricular activities.
She was of the methodist faith.
A private service will be held with the Rev. Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
