Dennis Williams

Dennis “Worpy” L. Williams, 66, of Sycamore, died at 11:24 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at Tiffin Mercy Hospital.
He was born on Sept. 4, 1954, in Tiffin, to Lehman and Mary Ellen (Beaston) Williams. His mother survives in Tiffin. Dennis never married.
Surviving are his brothers and sisters, Doyle (Mary) Williams, Melmore; Donna Frederick, Tiffin; Donald “Red” (Becky) Williams, rural Sycamore; Diane (Dean) Ziegler, Tiffin; Debra (Robert) Smith, Ft. Worth, Texas; and Dean (Beckie) Williams, rural Bloomville. Dennis is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lehman.                                                                                                                                          Dennis worked for 25 years at the former Excel Wire, Tiffin, and after they closed went to driving semi trucks for various businesses in the area. He was a 1973 graduate of Mohawk High School and was a social member of the Sycamore American Legion Post #250. For hobbies Dennis just loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle around the area.            Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. the same day at the funeral home with the Rev. Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin. It will be required to wear face mask if attending the visitation or funeral service. Those attending are also asked to wear casual clothing or Harley Davidson gear.
