Kurt Walter

Kurt David Walter, 55, of Carey, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, unexpectedly at his residence.
Born in Findlay on Aug. 4, 1965, he is the son of Thomas E. and Donna Lou (Ward) Walter.
Kurt is survived by his son, Kurt Thomas Walter and his mother, Catherine Rayos of the Philippines; three siblings, Craig M. (Maria) Walter, Leah (Stephen) Fletcher and Lana M. (Carl Jepson) Walter, all of Carey; and many nieces and nephews.
Kurt was a 1983 graduate of Carey High School. He worked in the hazardous environmental waste industry for many years and was in the rental business.
He was a member of the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation, Carey.
Kurt was an avid golfer. He traveled the world for both work and leisure.
Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 20, from 5-8 p.m. at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey. A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m. at the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation with the Rev. Tom Merrill OFM Conv., officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Bloom Cemetery, near Vanlue.

    Kurt my love, till now still cant believed your gone, theres no word can explain how broken, destroyed I am now that you will never be coming back to us again, our kids and I will always and forever loving you. i may not have chance to see you for the last time but i knew you still around watching over us. We are more than just a piece of paper, You and I are meant to be. I love you baby muahhhh muahhh muahhhh
