Thomas Noon
Thomas E. Noon, 89, of Findlay, died at 12:48 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.
He was born May 31, 1931, in Carey, to Edward P. and Grace (Thiry) Noon. He married Maxine Robinette on Oct. 31, 1977. Maxine survives in Findlay.
Tom is also survived by six children: Doaulas (Sandy) Noon of Carey, Nancy (Cyndi Hartmann) of North Carolina, Elise (Albert) Decker of Houston, Texas, Dee (David) Featheroff of Rushville, Ernest (Cori) Noon of Findlay and Marsha Noon of Findlay; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Noon and a sister, Patricia Coppler.
Tom was an electrician at Cooper Tire retiring in 1995. He had also worked at National Lime and Stone in Carey.
He enjoyed spending time at 50North in Findlay and was a soloist and Kazoo player in the Millstream Rhythm Band. He also enjoyed entertaining at various Karaoke nights around Findlay. He was a member of the Findlay Moose Lodge 698 and the Fostoria V.F.W.
Friends will be received from noon-2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. the same day at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Carey.
