Maxine Noon
Maxine Noon, 75, of Findlay, died at 9:03 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay with family by her side.
She was born July 18, 1945, in Williamson, W.Va., to Lee and Effie (Hensley) Robinette. She married Thomas E. Noon on Oct. 31, 1977. He preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 2020.
Maxine is survived by four children, Elise (Albert) Decker of Houston, Texas, Dee (David) Featheroff of Rushville, Ernest (Cori) Noon of Findlay and Marsha Noon of Findlay; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Walt (Hazel) Robinette of West Jefferson, Jim Robinette of Upper Sandusky and Jeff Robinette of Williamson, W.Va.; and two sisters, Lottie Kirk and Bonnie Watts, both of Columbus.
She is preceded in death by three brothers, Carlos, Arville and Homer Robinette; and four sisters, Lucille Kirk, Nella Watts, Wanda Hall and Carol Sue Robinette.
She grew up in Williamson, W.Va., and attended Road Branch School.
Maxine was foster parent to many children over the years and was of the Methodist faith. Her two greatest loves were the outdoors and being a domestic engineer.
Friends will be received from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with her brother, the Rev. Jim Robinette, officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Carey.
