Waneta Clark

Waneta J. Clark, 89, of Carey, died at Riverside Hospital on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020.         She was born on June 26, 1931, in Wyandot County to the late Ernest and Goldie (Gault) Dewey. On May 20, 1950, she married J. Leroy Clark, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 2019.
Surviving are daughters, Kay (Brad) Allen, Carey; and Louise (John) Lortz, Upper Sandusky; a son, Dennis (Carol) Clark, Carey; grandchildren, Christy (Jordan) Kisseberth, Kari (Andy) Kessler, Heidi (Andy) Brooks, Wendy (Ernie) Daugherty,  Alan (Lynelle) Lortz, Keren Wortham and Josiah Clark; great-grandchildren, Elyse, Claire, Issac and Molly Lortz, Connor Daugherty, Jordan Wortham, Raigan, McKinnley and Hayes Kessler, Trace and Addyson Kisseberth and Kaden and Harper Brooks.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Walters.
She was a 1949 graduate from Upper Sandusky High School.
Mrs.  Clark was a homemaker, she worked beside her husband farming and had worked part-time at Mt. Idy Lane Bowling Alley.
Her hobbies were playing the piano, singing, dancing, playing cards, vegetable and floral gardening, bowling, boating and fishing on Lake Erie, riding motorcycles and jet skis. She was a good seamstress and a hard working person that loved her family; she gave of her time and talent for the benefit of others.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Jan. 4, at 11:30 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Cynthia Morrison officiating.  Private family services were held at Bringman Clark Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crawford United Methodist Church or charity of the donor’s choice in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Avenue, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
