Betty Funkhouser
Betty J. Funkhouser, 81, of Vanlue, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, at her residence.
Born in Carey on May 30, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Beulah “Boots” (Ritter) Feasel.
She married Raymond M. Robinette and they divorced. She later married Richard Funkhouser on July 25, 1987. He survives in Vanlue.
Also surviving are three children, Marvin (Patty Hartman) Robinette, Upper Sandusky; Jackie Fox, Sandusky; Jim (Pauline Mitten) Carte, Carey; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-children, Joe (Dee Ann) Funkhouser, Marseilles; Neal Funkhousr, Florida; Rea (Bob) Hesson, Arlington; and five siblings, Bill (Sharon) Feasel, Vanlue; Peggy (Bob) Drummond, Findlay; Tom (Karen) Parsons, Findlay; Danny (Bonnie) Parsons, Mt. Cory; and Stephanie Simon, Findlay.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Wentz.
Betty attended Carey High School and received her high school diploma in Kissimmee, Fla. She worked at RCA in Findlay and retired from Westinghouse in Upper Sandusky.
She loved to travel hitting all 48 contiguous states and Alaska. She was an animal lover and hated animal abuse.
At Betty’s request, there will be no visitation.
