Donna Lee

Donna Mae Lee, 92, formerly of Carey, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, at Primrose Retirement Community, Findlay.
Born in Hoytville on Sept. 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Vern and Gail L. (Wagner) Needles.
Donna married Arthur D. Lee on Dec. 15, 1946, at St. Paul E.U.B. Church, Findlay. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1996.
Surviving are her two sons, Dean A. (Karol) Lee, Findlay; and Ed Lee, Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Karen Lee, Upper Sandusky; three grandchildren, Scott (Darcy) Washburn, Brian (Darla) Lee and Eric Lee; six great-grandchildren, Cassie Shuff, Trey (Pauleina) Washburn, Ethan Washburn, Isaiah and Cory Washburn and Dalton Lee; and a sister, Carol (William) Reynolds, Findlay.
She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel E. Lee; infant daughter, Jane Ann Lee; a grandson, Cory Washburn; and a sister, Lucille Semon.
Donna was a 1946 graduate of Findlay High School. She was a homemaker and had worked as a secretary/cashier at Jacob’s IGA.
She was a member of West Independence United Methodist Church, where she was involved with W.O.W. (Women of Worth).
Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 27, from noon-2 p.m. at West Independence United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. the same day at the church in West Independence, with the Rev. Robert Damschroder officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery, near Vanlue. COVID-19 protocol will be followed.
