Caroline Robison

Caroline E. “Carol” Robison, 81, of Carey, passed away at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, at Birchaven Village in Findlay.
Born on Aug. 9, 1939, in Carey, she was the daughter of the late Richard L. and Edith E. (Myers) Snook Sr. She married Glen D. Robison on June 16, 1958, in Angola, Ind. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2013.
She is survived by a daughter, Sarah Caroline Lucius of Carey, a grandson, Brian M. (Trisha) Lucius of Upper Sandusky, two great-granddaughters, Skylee and Kayla Lucius of Upper Sandusky and a brother, Richard L. (Patricia) Snook Jr. of Carey.
Preceding her in death were a son, Doug Robison, and a half brother, Jeff Snook.
Carol was a 1957 graduate of Carey High School and retired from Dorcas Carey Public Library in 1990 after 10 years of service. She also assisted her husband on the family farm.
Carol was a woman of faith. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Carey. She served on many committees at the church and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She truly enjoyed volunteering at the Carey Food Pantry.
Friends were received Feb. 7 at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey. The funeral service was held the same day at the funeral home with the Rev. Cynthia Morrison officiating. Burial followed at Zion Bloom Cemetery near Vanlue.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Carey Food Pantry or Memorial United Methodist Church children’s programs and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay Street, Carey, OH 43316.
