Ronald Duenke

Ronald (Ron) James Duenke, of Findlay, went to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ on June 16, 2021, just two days after his 63rd birthday at St. Catherine’s Manor.
He was born in St. Louis, Mo., on June 14, 1958, to Donald E. and Shirley (Southard) Duenke. Ron married Ida Ann Saldana and they later divorced.
Ron was a Carey High School graduate. He was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church and a lifetime supporter of WTGN Christian radio out of Lima. Ron enjoyed building model cars, loved NASCAR racing and was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal and New York Jets fan. In addition, he played guitar and composed music. Ron was a loving father and grandfather. He will be remembered for his abiding faith in his Lord and savior Jesus Christ and his witty sense of humor.
Ron is survived by his mother, Shirley; sons, Christopher D. Saldana of Findlay, Ryan J. Duenke of Findlay and Eric N. Duenke of Fort Worth, Texas; daughters, Lesa M. Cramer of Bluffton, and Patricia A. Duenke-Ingram of Findlay; brother, Mathew D. Duenke of Pelion, S.C.; and sister, Susan E. Stombaugh of Carey. Ron was blessed with his grandchildren, Noah, Juliett, Evelyn, Sharlotte, Udelle, Christian, Gabriel, Charity, Gavin James, Lillie Ann, Aria Grace, Olivir Harrison, Ian, Evan and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald; and a grandson, Preston G. Ingram.
Friends and family may visit from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, June 21, at Hufford Family Funeral Home, Findlay. A funeral service will begin after visitation in the funeral home at 1 p.m.
