Bob was a general laborer having worked at the former G.E. Plant, Tiffin, Worthington Industries, Upper Sandusky, American Standard, Tiffin, and retired from Toledo Mold and Die, Tiffin. Bob was a 1972 graduate of Calvert High School, social member of the Sycamore American Legion Post #250, member of the Fostoria Coin Club and former member of Seneca Hills Golf Club.
Bob was an avid golfer for years. When it was 95 degrees outside you could find Bob on the golf course. He loved to collect any type of golf memorabilia and loved showing off his collection of thousands of logo golf balls. On April 12, 1992, Bob had a hole in one on #6 at Seneca Hills. When Bob wasn’t on the course he loved sitting on the back patio at his home chatting with friends and family around a fire or playing a game of euchre and showing off a few card tricks. Bob was loved by so many friends and family especially his daughter, Jamie, who has so many fond memories of him which include camping at Indian Lake with family and friends where he loved to fish, swim and ride bikes. His words of wisdom: Humor will be greatly missed.
