Arlene Bennett

Arlene Kay Bennett, 82, of Findlay, died Saturday evening, Sept. 18, 2021, at Birchaven Care Center, Findlay.
Arlene was born July 25, 1939, in Biglick Township, Hancock County, to the late Paul E. and Mary Katherine (Pennington) Walter. On March 10, 1961, she married F. Joe Bennett and he survives along with a son, Roger E. (Lisa) Bennett of Mansfield.
Arlene’s surviving siblings are: Ted (Rosemary) Walter of Findlay, Vern Walter of Honolulu, Hawaii and sisters, Sharon Nuzum of Findlay and Marlene A. Hansen of Bourbonnais, Ill.
Her deceased siblings are: John Walter, Darlene Walter, Gene (Kathleen) Walter and Ilene Walter.
Arlene was a 1958 graduate of Carey High School and a retired nurse’s aide at Blanchard Valley Hospital. Arlene enjoyed embroidering in her spare time.
The family will receive visitors from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, and from 10:30-11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Bible Fellowship Church, Arlington. The funeral service will be held Sept. 23 at the church with the Rev. Jerry Kellogg officiating. Burial will follow at Van Horn Cemetery.
