Mark Mitsch

Mark J. Mitsch, 33, of Carey, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at home.

Mark was born in Cleveland on June 24, 1988. He attended Carey High School and graduated in 2007. While in school, Mark was a great student; he had no issues working hard and studying. He excelled at playing football, basketball, running track and choir. Also, when he was younger, he enjoyed wrestling every weekend.

Mark was a loving and genuine person who would help anyone in need. He often would walk around the neighborhood offering to lend a hand and would never take a penny. Mark’s love for people always shined through with his genuine smile and the large group of friends he had. In Mark’s free time, he could often be found fishing, hunting, working out, listening to music and spending time with his friends and family.

Being faithful, Mark was baptized Catholic and enjoyed the services at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God.

Mark is survived by his mother, Jean Mitsch of Carey; father, Robert “Bob” (Kit) Mitsch of Sycamore; siblings, Kevin Mitsch, Jason (Crystal) Mitsch, Chad Mitsch, Arneshiah (Matthew) Mitsch, Jordon Mitsch; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandma and grandpa Boes, his grandpa Mitsch and sister-in-law, Donna Mitsch.
