Peggy Dible

Peggy A. Dible, 89, of Carey, went to be with her lord and savior at 3:35 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022, at her residence with family by her side.
Born Aug. 5, 1932, in Glow, Ky., Peggy was the daughter of the late Fred and Arminta (Ward) Baldridge. She married William F. “Bill” Dible on May 11, 1957. He preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 2003. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.
Peggy loved being a homemaker. Taking care of her husband and raising her children were her first priority. She also took great pride in her home, both inside and out. She looked forward to spring time knowing it was time to turn the dirt and plant her beautiful flowers.
Peggy had a strong faith in God and loved sharing her faith with her family and friends. She was a long-time member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God in Carey. Her involvements with her church family were plentiful. For 20 years she was the head of the Women’s Ministries. She also enjoyed teaching Sunday school classes and leading the youth of the church. Spreading the word was very important to Peggy.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Barbara D. (John) Perkins and H. Eugene (Teresa) Dible, both of Carey; six grandchildren, Ashley (Chris) Fry, Levi (Brigid) Perkins, Kristal (Andy) Musgrave, Crystal (Scott) Craig, Dustin (Jenny) Rhodes and Amanda Rhodes; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wayne (Daylean) Baldridge of Findlay.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey and one hour prior to the service, 10-11 a.m., on Thursday, March 31, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God, Carey.
Services for Peggy will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God with the Rev. Joe Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Carey.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God and sent to the funeral home.
