Joean Green, 79, of Tiffin, died at 2:03 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
She was born on Dec. 29, 1942, in Cambridge, to Norman and Edra (Sigman) Hoerig. She first married Stanley Hayman and they later divorced. She then married Dave Green on Aug. 13, 1983, and he survives.
Surviving are the following children, David (Ruth) Hayman, rural Sycamore; Jodell (Randy) Wagner, rural Tiffin; and Jennie (Jerry) Czernewski, Vero Beach, Fla. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Barb (Ron) Smith, Benton.
Joean was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, two brothers and her parents.
Joean was a retired factory worker, member of the First Lutheran Church, Tiffin, and was a den mother for scouting for many years in the area. For hobbies she loved to bowl having bowled in several leagues over the years, sew, do all types of crafts, loved to babysit her grandchildren and enjoyed working in her garden, especially pulling weeds.
Joean’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of her life service will be held at a later date.
