Charles Gerstner Jr.

Charles “Charlie” Gerstner Jr., 82, of Upper Sandusky, died Monday, June 13, 2022, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.
Charlie was born in Columbus, on May 9, 1940, to the late Charles “Pat” Gerstner and Elizabeth “Betty” Plott.
Charlie grew up in Carey and attended Carey High School. He was a happy go lucky guy and would offer to help anyone in need. Charlie always had a smile on his face and was a huge Buckeye fan.
Charlie was very religious and formerly attended Memorial United Methodist Church in Carey.
Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Pat Gerstner; mother, Betty (Dallas) Knowlton; and brothers, William and Larry.
Burial for Charlie will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey, on Tuesday, June 21, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Loran Miracle will officiate.
