Mason Spradlin

Mason Jay Spradlin, 26, of Carey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Friday, Aug. 5, 2022.
Mason was born May 18, 1996, to Edward Spradlin and Stacy Luzader in Findlay. Mason grew up in Carey and attended Carey High School, graduating in 2015.
No matter what limitations Mason faced, he made sure he always kept a smile on his face and had a joke ready. He could often be found playing video games with his trusty pup, Orchid, by his side or listening to his favorite bands. Mason was always ready to go to a rock and roll or country concert and to this day would swear Shinedown was the loudest concert he ever heard.
Never one to stay idle, Mason enjoyed sightseeing and especially like visiting the Indian Mill with his family. Mason was a true Taurus and middle child and was always the peacekeeper amongst his siblings.
Mason will be missed greatly by his mother and care-giver, Stacy Jacoby of Carey; father, Ed (Elizabeth) Spradlin; siblings, Taylor (Kelsey Simons) Spradlin of Lorain, Hunter (Kenny Green) Jacoby of Bluffton and Tristin (Jacob Hill) Spradlin of Carey; grandmothers, Linda Luzader and Linda Powers; and best friend and partner in crime, Jonny Fahl.
A celebration of Mason’s life will be held at a later time and burial will take place at his family’s cemetery in Kentucky.
Donations may be made in Mason’s honor to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay Street, Carey, OH 43316, to help with final expenses.
