Jacky Feasel

Jacky Lynn Feasel, 67, of Carey, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Jacky was born in Findlay, on Sept. 20, 1955, the youngest child, to the late Allen Hayes and Mary Ann (Chapman) Gibson. Jacky grew up in Carey and attended Carey High School.
Jacky was a loving and devoted mother to her children. As a single mother she worked countless hours at Indian Trail and Eagle Wood Nursing Homes as a nursing assistant to provide for her children. In her free time Jacky would quilt everyone in her family blankets which became treasured family heirlooms.
In later years Jacky was the first to spend time with her grandchildren and could often be found pushing others out of her way to get to them.
In Jacky’s free time she enjoyed reading, especially crime and murder mysteries. Family car rides where a must through the country where she would sing old country songs by memory with force and confidence.
As the youngest child she was often able to get herself out of trouble, but was the first to offer support to her ailing mother and numerous nieces and nephews who all called her mom.
Jacky will be missed by her children, Jessica (Todd Welch) Grabow, Jamie (Kim) Weese and Andrew Hayes Feasel; grand-children, Samantha, Alyssa, Joe (Heather), John (Lori), Alexis, Anthony and Logan; numerous great-grandchildren; and siblings, Bill Gibson, Patty (Don) Blair, Betty St. Clair, Mary Hall and Susie Fisher; countless nieces and nephews; and former husband, Gene Feasel.
In addition to her parents, Jacky was preceded in death by infant son, Anthony James Feasel; and siblings, Ronnie Gibson, Kenneth Gibson, James “David” Gibson, Jeanette Perkins and multiple infant siblings and former husband, Charles Grabow.
Visitation will be held at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, Monday, Oct. 17, from 4-7 p.m. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the funeral home with the Rev. Joe Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
