Kenneth McKinney

Kenneth C. McKinney, 82, of Sycamore, died at 7:54 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, at Bridge Hospice, Findlay.
He was born on Oct. 1, 1940, in Harrisburg, Pa., to Charles J. and Marian E. (Brick) McKinney. He married Jacqueline M. (Mogle) McKinney on Nov. 11, 1961, and she survives in Sycamore.
Surviving are the following children, Tammy (Steven) Dunbar, Arlington and Michael (Kathy) McKinney, Upper Sandusky. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Roy (Ashley) McKinney, Geoffrey (Sarah) Dunbar, Matthew McKinney and Karrie McKinney; four great-grandchildren, Dakota McKinney, Denver McKinney, Gage McKinney and Mar Dunbar; plus two sisters, Leatrice (Alan) Karcher, Tiffin and Carol (Dave) Reep, Upper Sandusky.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Dunbar who died in 2004, and three brothers, besides his parents.
Kenneth was a chain assembler having worked 41 years at Webster Manufacturing, Tiffin. He was a member of the Plankton United Methodist Church, was a 1960 graduate of Sycamore High School, a member of the former Sycamore Horseshoe Club and worked the chain gang for Mohawk Jr. High football for many years.
For hobbies he loved to do woodworking projects, work in his garden, give blood every time he could, loved watching his grandchildren play sports at Mohawk and Carey and he was the family croquet champion.
A memorial service for Kenneth will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Brett Kelly officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
