Myron Babcock Sr.

Myron W. Babcock Sr., 81, of Sycamore, died at 6:16 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at his daughter’s residence.
He was born on Jan. 6, 1942, in Sycamore, to Clifford and Kathryn (England) Babcock. He married Beuton (Latham) Babcock on Nov. 18, 1996, and she survives in Sycamore.
Surviving are the following children, Tabitha Babcock, rural Sycamore; Sandy Wise, rural Sycamore; Wayne (Vicky) Babcock Jr., rural Sycamore; and Sam Babcock, Toledo. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a brother, Jim Babcock, rural Sycamore.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Babcock; one brother, Ted Babcock; and a sister, Mary Naugle.
Myron was a self-employed truck driver and a junk dealer. He was a social member of the Bucyrus Amvets, loved to fish, hunt, go to auctions, enjoyed riding his four-wheeler but especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At Myron’s request there will be no funeral service.
