Edmund Berberick

Edmund F. Berberick, 82, formerly of Fremont, died Friday, March 3, 2023, at Heritage Nursing Home in Findlay.
Eddie was born Aug. 5, 1940, in Fremont, to the late Edmund and Dorothy (Pittenger) Berberick.
He was a diesel mechanic right out of high school working for Hank Lantz in Clyde, Signal Trucking in Marion, E & L Transport and later retired as security guard at Ball Metal in Findlay.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed flying model airplanes, fixing Schwinn bicycles and was a self-taught guitarist. He also enjoyed tending to his kennel of pet dogs.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Virginia “Ginny” Berberick; son, Eddie and daughter, Lori, both of Fremont; sister, Shirley Buhrow of Elmore; step-children, Ed (Deb) Mullholand, Oleta (Jim) Kin, Ray Lee Mullholand, Bob (Lisa) Mullholand, Rich (Marsha) Mullholand and Owen (Nicky) Mullholand; and numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brother, Roger, and step-daughter, Lora Hunter.
Burial will take place at a later date at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
