Robert Flugga

Robert E. Flugga, 72, of Findlay, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, at his residence. He was born March 6, 1951, to the late Kenneth and Donna (Grant) Flugga in Findlay.
Robert honorably served his country from 1968-1972, fighting in the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He was a retiree of the Budd Company in Carey. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hot-rodding his Corvette, college football, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes, drinking beer, riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, remote control cars and was an animal lover, with eagles being his favorite.
He is survived by sons, Jeremy (Tiffini) Flugga of Alger, and Jason (Sara) Flugga of Findlay; daughters, Amy (Becky Heller-Flugga) Flugga of Deshler, Melissa (Drew Smith) Flugga of Rawson, and Jennifer Flugga of Findlay; brothers, Steve (Connie) Flugga of Mt. Blanchard, and Mark Flugga of Findlay; and a sister, Kim (Dave) Newcomber of New Riegel; and nine grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and James Flugga.
Visitation for Robert will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 3-4 p.m. at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay. A funeral service, with full military rites courtesy of Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, followed by additional visitation until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
