Tina Runion

Tina Marie Runion, 62, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024.
Tina was born in Toledo, on Nov. 8, 1962, to the late Robert J. and Sally Ann (Beucler) Beres. Tina is the youngest of seven children in a blended family.
Tina worked in hospital admissions, as an STNA in a nursing home, in retail, doing bookkeeping and in factory work until she was put on disability due to health reasons.
Tina had a love of animals, her fur-babies were just that, her babies. Tina loved to collect Scooby-Doo, Pioneer Woman, cookie jars and crystals. In her spare time, you could find her online shopping, watching her favorite TV shows and wrestling, or playing memory-building games on her phone.
Tina loved her family more than anything. She was the most amazing mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, cousin and friend you could ask for. If you were a friend, you were family and Tina would do anything she could to be there when she was needed.
Her true passion and what she said she lived and kept fighting for were for her grandbabies. She was known for many things, but being “grandma” was by far her favorite. Her love for her grandchildren was unequalled.
Tina was kind, loving, generous, compassionate, brave, loyal and stubborn, but most of all Tina was unbelievably strong and a fighter. There is no replacing her, she will be severely missed by many.
Tina is survived by her partner, Roger Runion; daughters, Susan (James) Eggert and Cassandra (Chris) Ray; step-daughter, Rachel (Matt) Nye; grandchildren, Brady Wentz, Jameson Wentz, Trent Eggert, Audrey Eggert and Ellie Nye; brothers, Bill (Robin) Beres, Bob Beres and Pat Lucasak; sisters, Kathleen Short and Karen (Joe) Woltmann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Tina is preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Margaret Beres, and Earl and Margaret Beucler; sibling, Fred Lucasak; and grandchild, Ember Lynn Eggert.
Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 1 p.m. at Crawford Church, Carey. The Rev. Cynthia Morrison will officiate.
