Goldie M. Harrold, 80, Carey, died at 12:10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Sandusky.
Born Oct. 18, 1936, in Pyramid, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Mary (Sloan) Priddy. She married Everett “Bud” Harrold on Jan. 5, 1955. He preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1988.
Surviving are four sons, Patrick Harrold and Dan “Red” (Barrie) Harrold, both of Carey; Brian (Rena) Harrold of Tiffin and Kevin (Leann) Harrold of Delaware; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim Priddy, of Findlay.
Preceding her in death were two sisters, Iris Jean Reed and Dorothy Swinehart.
Goldie last worked at Toledo Molding & Die in Carey. She had also worked at the former Millington Plastics and Bond Plastics, both in Upper Sandusky. She was a former member of the American Legion #344 Auxiliary in Carey.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to garage sales.
A funeral service was held Aug. 12 at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. Visitation was held prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
